How the Cartridge Works

The filter cartridge uses activated carbon. It provides anti-taste and anti-odor action. Particles responsible for these nuisances, such as chlorine or organic residues (pesticides, etc.), are retained as the water passes through the activated carbon. This activated carbon cartridge does not function as an impurity filter, so it is advisable to use an impurity filter upstream to avoid damaging the activated carbon.

Cartridge Replacement: This type of cartridge should be replaced every 6 months. However, if you notice a deterioration in the taste of your drinking water, replace the cartridge immediately. Changing the cartridge is simple and takes only a few minutes—just remove the old cartridge and insert the new one.
