Which BWT water filters are cartridges available for?

BWT offers suitable filter cartridges for a wide range of water filtration systems. Replacement cartridges are available in our shop for the following filtration systems:
• Filter cartridges for table water filters: suitable for BWT filter jugs and everyday enjoyment of water at home
• Cartridges for taps and under-sink water filters: for filtered water directly from the tap
• Filter cartridges for water dispensers: ideal for offices, kitchens or communal areas

BWT filter cartridges for different water needs

BWT offers water filter cartridges with different technologies. This allows you to filter, mineralise or specifically optimise the taste of your water according to your needs.

Magnesium Mineralized Water

This BWT filter cartridge reduces unwanted substances and enriches the water with magnesium. Ideal for a pleasantly balanced taste in everyday life.

Zinc + Magnesium Mineralized Water

This filtration technology combines magnesium with the trace element zinc. A suitable choice for anyone who wants to filter their tap water and additionally mineralise it.

Silicate + Magnesium Mineralized Water

This cartridge enriches the water with magnesium and silicon. It reduces chlorine and organic substances but does not provide limescale protection.

Balanced Alkalized + Magnesium Mineralized Water

This filtration technology increases the pH value of the water and additionally enriches it with magnesium. Ideal for anyone who prefers alkaline-treated water.

Soft Extra

This filter cartridge is particularly suitable for tea and coffee lovers. It reduces limescale and supports a smoother taste in hot beverages.

Why replace filter cartridges regularly?

A BWT filter cartridge should be replaced regularly to maintain filtration performance, taste and hygiene. Different replacement intervals apply depending on the filtration system:

• Filter cartridges for BWT table water filters: The filter cartridge should be replaced at least every four weeks or after filtering up to 120 litres of water.
• Filter cartridges for under-sink water filters: Under defined test conditions, MyAQUA Protect and MyAQUA Perfect Taste each have a capacity of approximately 650 litres, while MyAQUA Taste has a capacity of up to 1,500 litres. The cartridge should be replaced once the respective capacity has been reached, and at the latest after six months.
• Water dispenser cartridges: Depending on the cartridge type, replacement is required once the filter capacity has been reached or at the latest after six or twelve months.

The actual service life may vary depending on water quality, hardness and individual consumption. If a filter cartridge is used beyond the recommended period, filtration performance and water quality may decrease. Further information can be found in the BWT guide to replacing filter cartridges.
