BWT Stériclean - Resin Cleaner for Water Softeners
Application
Liquid cleaner bottles designed for maintaining the resins in your water softener.
Over time, and with cycles of use and regeneration, the resins in the water softener accumulate residues and impurities left by the water passing through. The cleaner removes these particles to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of the resins.
The two bottles each contain 125ml of cleaning product. This pre-measured quantity ensures optimal cleaning of your resin.
Usage
Depending on the quantity of resin in your water softener, it is recommended to use 1 or 2 bottles at a time:
- Water softener with 8 to 22 liters of resin: 1 bottle
- Water softener with 28 to 50 liters of resin: 2 bottles
The frequency of using this cleaner also varies depending on the capacity and usage rate of the water softener. It is generally recommended to perform this cleaning every 6 months, up to every year for smaller devices.
It is also recommended to clean the resins if the water softener has not been in operation for more than 2 consecutive weeks (for example, during a vacation).
