Description

In general, water treatment measures should be adapted to the type of corrosion that is to be expected or has already occurred, the installation and operating conditions and the material properties. BWT expert advice based on a water analysis is recommended.

Product properties

BWT Mineral F4 is intended for the treatment of drinking and process water, hardness range hard, up to max. 65 °C water temperature. Typically for waters from 21 °d total hardness or total alkaline earths 2.5-3.8 mol/m³ and maximum 14-18 °d carbonate hardness. Water with low total hardness but with 14-18 °d carbonate hardness is also optimally treated with BWT Mineral F4.

The products correspond in their composition and purity:

the list of treatment substances and disinfection processes according to §11 of the German Drinking Water Ordinance;
the Austrian Foodstuffs Book, Codex Chapter B1 Drinking Water

Application/Dosage

The dosing of BWT Mineral F4 is carried out without any problems using DVGW/GS-tested BWT Mineral dosing devices from original containers. The dosing of BWT Mineral F4 is permitted according to the Drinking Water Ordinance up to 2.2 g P/m³ water. The BWT mineral substance dosing devices are set accordingly at the factory.

BWT Mineralstoffe sind zur Aufbereitung von Trinkwasser für den menschlichen Gebrauch geeignet und entsprechen in ihrer Reinheit und Zusammensetzung selbstverständlich allen Anforderungen des österreichischen Lebensmittelbuches (Codexkapitel B1 Trinkwasser) sowie den entsprechenden Richtlinien des DVGW.

BWT Mineralstoffe F (3 Liter) sind für den Einsatz in DVGW-geprüften Flüssigdosiergeräten BWT Bewados E3 konzipiert. Bei jeder Wasserentnahme im Leitungssystem werden vom Mineralstoff-Dosiergerät weniger als 5 mg/l des BWT-Mineralstoffes ins Trinkwasser zudosiert.

Dieser reagiert bei Zudosierung ins Trinkwasser an den Rohrinnenwänden und bildet so allmählich eine dünne, aber fest haftende, schützende Schicht, die das Wasser vom Rohr trennt (Innenrohrversiegelung). Vorhandene Rost-/Korrosionsherde werden unterwandert (abgekapselt). Eine regelmässige Wasserentnahme an jeder Entnahmestelle ist erforderlich.
