Taste and protection
The BWT filter cartridge AQA drink Magnesium Mineralized Water reduces odour and taste-disturbing substances such as chlorine and heavy metals such as copper, lead and nickel. The filtered water is enriched with the valuable mineral magnesium by the patented BWT magnesium technology and thus keeps the mineral content in balance with an almost neutral ph value.
Which Contaminants Can Be Filtered from Water?
- Limescale*: In areas with hard water, limescale is a problem as its presence damages household appliances.
- Chlorine: Used as a disinfectant, chlorine protects against bacteria, but it impairs the taste of drinking water.
- Heavy Metals**: Lead and other heavy metals can enter your drinking water through old pipes, posing a health risk.
