The NP1 filter housing is manufactured from heavy duty plastic and has been designed to be fitted on cold water supply only. The Filter housing can be used singularly or in pairs along with a variety of filter cartridges to provide more complex water solutions. The wide range of filter cartidges available make them ideal for whole house or as a pre-filter for single appliance protection . The housing is supplied with out a filter cartridge allowing the installer to choose the right one to match the local water conditions:

The filter housing is manufactured from tough and durable polyproplene, however care should be taken not to overtighten fittings and to ensure the installation is adequately supported and aligned to prevent unecessary strain on the housing or fittings. The housing should always be used with an appropriate filter cartridge. When installing or changing a cartridge the housing should be isolated and any pressure released before starting work.

Once isolated on both sides of the housing any residual pressure can be released using the button top of the head.
